The smoothly loquacious Todd Robbins guides us through the macabre histories of mediums and murderers in this lecture and magic act, directed and cowritten by Teller. Although the show sometimes tries to cast dark shadows, it succeeds best as necromantic comedy; several sequences set in inky blackness have audiences shrieking with jittery glee.—Adam Feldman
